What a great weekend we had. We finally have settled here in our new home and town and what a wonderful feeling. The weekend was full of gardening as Claude finished building us a 50'x50' fenced in plot. He was covered in sweat and dirt and in his glory! In went our tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash and plenty of herbs. Now its my responsibility to get it watered and watch it grow. Then we went to a bonfire Sat. night and watched the kids run around in the dark playing with flashlights as we adults actually sat around the fire and had full conversations
. You know that you've met some great people when the time flies by and you realized you have chatted and laughed all night. Thanks Nicolle & Steve!..( when is Sydney up for getting spoiled?)Then we spent the whole Sunday afternoon sitting under our 200 yr.old Maple trees at the table with delicious food Claude made on the grill, drinking beer and chatting with friends. I couldn't have thought of anything better to do. As us adults talked about saving the earth, I would look up and see the kids playing and was so proud of them and how they have been growing up. So now the week begins and so does the summertime! and looking forward to all that it brings.
