Yikes it is hot , but oddly enough it gets cooler here in the evening, thank god. The weekend was a simple one, and the boys enjoyed every moment. After a hot baseball game we headed back home to play with the hose. I told you it was simple! Claude cleaned out the barn and as Mason was riding his bike in it with the Talking Heads playing on the stereo, he claimed that, " we NEED to make this a party place!." That's my boy.! Then we grabbed our surf boards and headed to the beach for dinner and a dip in the sea. They were in heaven and shocked that it took only 10 mins. to get there. They rode the "waves", ate gluten free chicken wings and fries and filled my newly cleaned car with sand. Sunday they all started EARLY and we went out and got a small pool for the kids (and parents) to soak in. Just the shear adventure of filling up the pool with water entertained them for hours..again we live quiet simple. So if you're in the neighborhood, swing by for a "dip" and to check out the new party place..we ate all the wings sorry...
