Being as lucky as we are to live 10 miles from the sea, yesterday after the "storm" we decide to check out the surf. We put on our bathing suits, grabbed a towel and set sail. 
Well we weren't alone. As we turned into Wallis Sands Beach we noticed a handful of people sitting on the shore watching the water. The day was full of bright blue skies and surprisingly calm surf ? Our boys know what to do once they find their spot. They get right to work, building their pool for the crabs and snails they plan on finding. Well, because we didn't pack a lunch we needed to cut our trip short & kiss our crab good-bye (yes that is our pure hearted animal lover Mason ) but with the shore so close it is easier to leave knowing we will be back shortly. This IS the best time for the beach, with no entrance fee, less people and that warm Autumn sun..pure heaven.
