whew.. we made it through

WHAT a week and weekend.  Where did I leave off?  Well, lets see,  Thurs. we went trick or treating and loaded up for the year.!  Fortunately we had to go through all the candy and weed out all gluten and nut containing item, which cut it all out by 1/3rd..still leaving us with plenty! Then back to bed late and up early to get to Acorn school's celebration at the farm.  We took a long hayride and went through the corn maze which took us longer than expected.  Ms. Tracey was getting worried and called on her cell phone for help?!  But we saw the light and got through in time for snacks and some singing.  It was a beautiful day and wonderful event to see all the students teachers, siblings and parents all together in costumes.

Then the day continued with toilet papering our own house to celebrate Claude's birthday arrival from Maine.  The kids had a blast throwing it all into the trees and running around. Claude arrived later that night with Steve, his co-worker and he opened pre

sents and the kids ran around in their costumes..again.

Sat. we had soccer tournament 

and then a bonfire that night with the Foss family that ran into the wee hours of the night..whoops, what happened

to playing Pictionary guys?!  Instead us 

parents stayed outside drinking beers and conspiring plans to dissemble a "certain" car for going WAY too fast down our street as the kids stayed inside playing legos and watching movies.  It was time to end the party after the kids came out and asked to go to bed..yikes!?

Sunday we nursed our heads and bought a car.  So you can say it was a busy week/end!  More to come this week!..?

PS:  CONGRATS TO NICOLLE!! she graduated from yogi school.. she is an official yoga teacher!! Now we are all trying to figure out her yogi name for Friday night!! ; )
